argentina - embassy
netherlands - embassy
Algeria - embassy
When should a hotel contact an embassy or consulate?
  • Lost or stolen passport (guest needs replacement travel document guidance)
  • Serious medical emergency involving a foreign national (family notification support may be requested by the guest)
  • Death of a guest (coordination for next-of-kin / documentation support)
  • Arrest/detention or law enforcement involvement where the guest requests consular notification
  • Victim of crime (guest requests consular assistance/resources)
  • Minors / vulnerable adults with guardianship concerns and the guest requests consular support
Important: Embassies do not override local law enforcement or provide legal representation. For immediate safety concerns, call 911 first. When possible, contact an embassy/consulate at the guest’s request (or where consular notification requirements apply).
